The Story of the Little Taylor and the Emperor

I have often used the illustration of the littlel tailor and the Emperor because it seems to me that there are similarities between the evolution theory and the illustration.

Evolution relies heavily on imaginary evidence. For example has anyone in history ever seen an example of one creature changing into another. to fulfill this requirement we need to see half-formed limbs, half-formed organs developing and such like. But there is none. Just talk. Similarities are used to prove something that similarities never lead to. For example:- In the real world we can line up many examples of similarity and they all prove design and not evolution. Similarity only proves design for a similar purpose. I have found that the main reason why persons are inclined to turn to evolution as an explanation for life is because they lack faith in God or the Bible. This lack of faith is largely the responsibility of their religious shepherds who never gave them the true answers to their questions. I know this from personal experience.

The Bible shows that the one big difference between humans and the animal kingdom is the large brain that we possess and which enable us to reason concerning cause and effect. Because of all the design that is apparent around us, humans tend to reason that there has to be a first cause. That is why no matter how far back we go into the past humans have always been found to have worshipped a god of some sorts. However because of selfishness and a lack of accurate knowledge they have tended to create false gods that reflected their own selfish desires and fears. On the other hand, they did realize that they were morally accountable to these gods  that they had created,  for their behavior and actions. We call this “spirituality” or “being spiritually minded.” On the other hand there are those that have found that the explanations of the clergy have been far-fetched and inadequate to satisfy them and so many have become evolutionists.

The Desire for Unlimited Freedom

Another reason why some tend to become evolutionists is based on a desire for unlimited freedom. Of course this is impractical because if everybody did as they pleased chaos would result. However these persons resent being morally accountable to a higher power. We identify such individuals as materialists because of their lack of ability to understand spirituality.

There are many so-called evolutionary experts, who therefore strive to justify this lack of spirituality by searching for ways to prove that that they are not morally accountable to a higher power. They fear exposure of their real motives by the pretense that they are being objective scientists.

On the other hand some, like myself, were betrayed by their religious leaders whom, they regarded as the experts and who were supposed to be teaching them what the Bible actually taught,  including the evidences of its authenticity. We were supposed to have been educated sufficiently so that we could defend themselves against negative thinking. This is what the Bible teaches us was the purpose of the Christian congregation.

The Purpose of The Christian Congregation

(Matthew 28:19-20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, ………………………..²⁰ teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

(Ephesians 4:11-14) . . .And he gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelizers, some as shepherds and teachers, ¹² ……………. for the building up of the body of the Christ, ¹³ until we all attain to the oneness in the faith and in the accurate knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man, to the measure of stature that belongs to the fullness of the Christ; ¹⁴ in order that we should no longer be babes, tossed about as by waves and carried hither and thither by every wind of teaching by means of the trickery of men, by means of cunning in contriving error.

Filling the Vacuum

Because of a lack of knowledge, many like myself, turned to the evolution theory because it seemed to be the only alternative to creation. However many like myself appreciate the need for regulation of one’s behavior and have no problem with being morally accountable to a higher power. Others however, are materialists and embrace the story that evolutionist dish up because they do not want their true motives exposed and so require justification for their unreasonable demand for unlimited freedom. Both groups choose what they want, only those like myself, want to know the truth and are not afraid to be accountable for our actions. This is the group that my articles are aimed at. They are evolutionists because they lacked knowledge of the Bible and the shortcomings of the evolution theory.

Now someone may disagree with me and say that it is not fair to accuse the evolutionist of using deception to achieve his goals so we will look at the facts.

The Great Deception

History has also shown us many examples over the years of these pseudo scientists who have all the academic training and qualifications, but let their personal opinions take precedence over letting the facts speak for themselves. They color the facts so much that the outcome is distorted and far from the truth. There are many evolutionary teachers today who are no different. Should I let what they say go unchallenged? I think not.

Evolutionists tell us that because many different forms of life have similarities, they must have evolved from one another.

For example:[-Because a bat’s wing has a framework composed of bone structure similar to the human hand, they say that the similarity is there because the basic structure modified itself without intelligent guidance into both the hand and the bat’s wing.

Now of course we can look around to see whether arms, wings, and various other organs in the different life forms are gradually being formed in this way, but we look in vain. We see nothing of the sort. What should we expect to see if what the evolutionist tells is correct?

We can illustrate what we expect to see by looking at the development of boats. We can easily arrange all boats in a sequence that illustrates their development. This is what the evolutionist does. However, once we begin to examine the details of how this development is supposed to have occurred, the smooth apparent transition disappears and it becomes obvious that the mere addition of trial and error add-ons can never lead to the development of completely different ships and so the theory becomes unreasonable and impossible. It is not just a matter of upgrading the original. We may start with a canoe. We probably don’t need a plan for this because of its simplicity but as soon as the complexity increases the more the need of a completely new plan of action becomes apparent. When we get to advanced plans like yachts, schooners, tugs, liners, tankers and on to aircraft carriers the construct methods all differ and upgrades or small added modifications as required by evolutionary theory just do not work. You might build a dingy from wood but you will need steel for an aircraft carrier. You just cannot add adjustments.

The problem is compounded because evolution maintains that the add-ons are completely random and selection of the beneficial add-ons are made without intelligence.

To illustrate:- How does evolution know how to duplicate a bat’s left wing and so produce the right wing by the random selection of add-ons. How does evolution know where to situate the beginnings of an eye? If the place was selected at random it could land up on you bottom? How does evolution know how to duplicate the original eye and locate it in the correct place by random trial and error methods? Once one gets down to the details the theory is seen to be non-sense.

You have to start each new complex design from scratch. It is impossible to evolve things because of their complexity. How do you evolve a cell? The cell is extremely complicated and yet it is only the basic building block for all life forms. Furthermore even it were possible for the slow development of the various parts of the cell, how could the cell pass its information to the next generation? Cells die but pass on their information by making copies of themselves and so start a new life cycle. The incomplete cell’s death would mean the end of what they had developed in their lifetime because only a complete cell could pass on the information and only a complete cell has the machinery to manufacture the parts it contains.

Add-ons simply do not work.  Humans have been around for about 6000 years according to the Bible. The evolutionists say we have been around for millions of years. Yet the smartest animal alive is absolutely stupid compared to a little child that is quite capable of learning different languages, so we are fully justified in asking why this gap between ankimals and humans have not been bridged. Furthermore, why have humans not been able to produce a civilization in say 500,000 years rather than just a mere 6000 years and why humans apparently started off with civilization and ancient languages that are even more grammatically complicated than our modern languages.

Another thing, during the past 6000 years of human history why have we not seen any of the changes that evolutionists say have been occurring? We know that they say it happens too slowly to be observed, but this sounds suspiciously like the explanation given by the little tailor. We are not asking to see a complete change from one kind to another but simply to be able to see the many different gradual modifications and surely this should be possible over 6000 years and yet nobody has ever noticed any of the in-between examples of wings gradually forming and creatures with the compicated ball and socket joints of a shoulder gradually forming. These are bone structures and so the fossil evidence should also be there in large quantities..

True, some animals are no longer around although we have fossil remains proving that they once existed. Yet when these fossils are examined, they all appear to have fully formed organs and bone structures. Never do we find fossils with partially developed organs and structures. And when we find fossils of animals equivalent to what we have today, they all appear to be just as fully formed as their modern day equivalents. What happened to the billions of in-between forms that the evolutionist assumes must have existed in the past.  Why does the fossil record discriminate, by only showing fully-formed structures, while leaving out the millions of partially-formed structures that must have existed if evolution was true?

The evolutionist acknowledges that one cannot see these developments, but insists that it is primitive and ignorant to believe in a creator and therefore the only alternative is evolution. Of course as some don’t want to be primitive or ignorant, it is understandable that many will behave like the people in the story of the little taylor and the emperor. The teachings of evolution are about two centuries old. Archeologists and paleontologists have been working for two hundred years and apart from showing us fossils of ancient creatures and because they are influenced by evolutionary teaching, they tell us these fossils are millions of years old. However they never ever show us the partially developed fossils that evolution needs to prove that the theory is correct.. We never see arms developing or eyes developing or new organs being formed so something is surely wrong. Of course the evolutionists tell us that we cannot see the development of organs because they are not preserved as fossils. Well then the only evidence that we can expect to see is in the living organisms that lived during the past 6000 years and without that evidence, evolution is just a statement of belief and not a scientific fact of life.

We also notice that there are quite a number of scientific intellectuals who do not accept the evolutionary explanation. Of course the evolutionist says that they are not reputable so I gather that the requirement for being classified as reputable is acceptance of this unproven theory.

The only area where changes can be observed is in the growth cycle of living creatures. However, the reason for these changes is because a program written in the DNA maps out the construction methods and the parts in advance and the cell itself contains the machinery for the construction work. This is exactly the same process that we observe with the building of a ship or any type of construction that we make. We notice that just as humans have to design and draw up plans for the construction work we require, so the evidence of a program in the DNA and the ability to read and interpret this program in constructing a living creature is proof that a master programmer was at work designing and creating and this without the aid of evolution.

Plans of a new ship are drawn up in advance to comply with a specific requirement by an experienced construction architect. Then intelligent experienced workmen are employed to construct the ship, which is sequentially constructed according to the plan. So when we look around and see all life forms being built according to pre-arranged plans drawn up in the DNA and no observable examples of changes from one sort into another amongst life forms during the past 6000 years, I would venture to say that not only is there no evidence for evolution, but the existing evidence points to creation by a super creator who existed even before matter came into existence.

The above shows that the lesson found in the story of the “little tailor and the emperor” which most person have heard in their childhood, was not learned, and so just like the emperor and his pretentious observers, many persons have permitted themselves to be fooled.

The Great Flood

In the past when scientists first began finding fossils and even whole animals, quick-frozen in ice, like the mammoths, they were searching for answers. As the Bible had spoken of a global flood about 2370  B.C.E. and legends of a global flood were found all over the world,  it seemed logical to assume that this was the cause for the vast amount of fossils found all over the earth. Our modern civilization is based on fossil fuels and there is no evidence that fossils are being formed today in any quantity to speak of, and it is not anticipated that there will be new sources of fossil fuels appearing n the future. In fact the fossil fuels are all being used up so the presence of so many fossils worldwide provided circumstantial evidence of a global catastrophe that caused the formation of all these fossils. A global flood meets this requirement. The logical conclusion that these earlier scientists arrived at was sound and well founded.  However there have always been persons that have chafed at the idea that we are morally accountable to a creator for our actions and so it is not unusual to expect that attempts would be made to escape these valid scientifically based conclusions.

The objections began with futile nonsensical arguments like “It was a local flood,” “Where did all the water come from,” “How did Noah get all the animals into the Ark” and such like.

The desperation in these arguments is noteworthy because it is obvious that if the flood was local Noah would not have even built an ark but simply been able to move to another area. The amount of water on the planet is far greater than the land surface area. Examinations of the seabed show far lower coastlines in the past than today. The writings of scientists like Donald Patten in his “The Biblical flood and the Ice Epoch” show that it is not unreasonable to understand where the enormous amounts of ice trapped in the Arctic and Antarctic may have come from.

The first real attempt to remove the evidence provided by the global flood for the formation of the fossil record was made by a gentleman named Charles Lyell. He produced a new theory that assumed that catastrophes like the global flood should not be used to interpret the evidence, but that the evidence should only be interpreted by applying the idea that the present is the key to the past. You be the judge of how scientific that statement is.

Is it the scientific method to establish rules of interpretation so as to get the answers that we wish to hear?

As the fossil record was a worldwide phenomena, and the Bible has been shown to be historically accurate. It proved to be so accurate that many archaeologists use it as a handbook to locate sites to excavate. The Bible records the history of a global flood. The fact that fossils are found in great quantities all around the earth is one reason why our present civilization was able to be running on fossil fuels today. The fact that the fossil record was global in character constitutes circumstantial evidence confirming the flood and even the fact that very few fossils are being formed in our time is proof that a worldwide catastrophe happened in the past and formed the fossil record. Yet evolutionist have rejected it on the grounds that we don’t see global floods occurring today. Is this sound thinking?

Dating Events in the Bible

Another reason. The Bible has proved to be a good tool for dating events because it is actually the official written history of the nation of Israel. The nation based its selection of kings and priests on their genealogy. Accurate records of the names of individuals and how long they lived and how long kings reigned although maybe boring to read, have all been wisely provided for us to read, so that we can establish when events actually occurred. To accomplish this we need to align the occurrences mentioned in the Bible with the dates in secular history. One important date is the fall of Babylon to King Cyrus in 539 B.C.E. This date has been selected as a pivotal date because it has been unanimously accepted by historians  unlike many other dates that historians have proposed. By matching the pivotal date with the corresponding event in the Bible we can arrive at other dates,  using the internal information found in the Bible. This is a better method than using the speculative dates that historians have drawn from secular authorities, who have often been shown to be downright dishonest. Pharaohs of Egypt for example have been found claiming the works of others for themselves. By contrast, the Bible writers have established themselves as being honest and reliable, even recording their own failings and mistakes for all to read. Consider how they exposed their most popular king, David when he sinned and had a man murdered to get his wife Bathsheba.

A good example is  how one arrives at the date when Babylon conquered Israel. Secular authorities arrive at the date 586 B.C.E. but by using 539 B.C.E as a pivotal date we can arrive at a more accurate date for this event. The Bible shows that this was 607 B.C.E. and not 586 B.C.E.  Using the pivotal date 539 B.C.E. the internal evidence  shows that the date when Cyrus issued his decree permitting the Jews to return to the land of Israel was 537 B.C.E.  Because this was after the land  had being desolate for 70 years, by counting back 70 years (the 70 years of desolation) we arrive at the date 607 B.C.E. That was when Jerusalem was conquered by Babylon and not 586 B.C.E.  Although some secular authorities obviously disagree with this date, it is  because their faith in the Bible has been eroded by teachings like the evolution theory.

The 607 B.C.E. date is also important for us because it is the basis for understanding some very significant prophecies. However the point that we are making in this article is that the Jewish scribes were meticulous in recording genealogies and dating methods. This includes ascertaining the date for the Global flood of Noah’s day.

These dating methods show that the Global flood was about 2370 B.C.E. and this is bad news for the evolutionists who require millions of years for their theory to work. If you wish to know the method that they have used to arrive at their  millions of years figures, I suggest that you examine the articles “Evolution’s Time Scale” and “The Geological Hoax” on my site. However once again the facts we observe in the present world and the observations made by observers in times past all agree with the fact that the fossil record was produced by a global flood.

It is therefore possible to see that the majority of people are behaving like the people  in the “little tailor and the emperor” story. They are living out the evolutionary bedtime story. Modern day persons  are being encouraged to reject the evidence of their eyes and also the evidence recorded in the fossil record, to swallow evolution as a fact on the say-so of the evolutionists. The intellectual label that the evolutionists have acquired is the authority for belief in the illusion. Is this not an evolutionary illusion?

One of the reasons for the acceptance of the evolution story is the assumption that the universe was always here and therefore no creator was required, however the modern findings of astronomy have shown that there is no need for a theory of evolution because the evidence clearly shows that the universe had a beginning. Once a beginning is arrived at of necessity a first cause or creator is required. The fact that it has now been conclusively proved that the universe had a beginning therefore means that the existence of a creator is an established fact.  The existence of an invisible creator that existed before matter can now be regarded as proof that God exists, so the encients were not so dumb after all, although they lacked the accurate knowlsedge to know the truth about God.

In the book “God and the Astronomers,” The astronomer Robert Jastrow wrote: “Now we see how the astronomical evidence leads to a biblical view of the origin of the world.” “For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians [persons believing in creation] who have been sitting there for centuries”

Just as it was necessary for us to grow up and to learn the lesson taught by the “little tailor and the emperor” so we need to grow up, hang on to our common sense and the evidences that we are able to see and understand, while not allowing plausible stories that appeal to the weaknesses in us to cause us to lose our balance.

The Need to Know the Truth

I have written many articles showing the folly of the evolution theory but the matter does not end there. The Bible record shows that God caused the global flood to destroy a wicked generation in mankind’s history. Because humans rejected his authority in favor of freedom to do as they please, destruction of that wicked generation ensued. This rejection of moral accountability resulted in a world ruined by crime and violence. What was the motivation behind the degeneration that occurred? The same driving motive behind the theory of evolution. The desire to avoid moral accountability to a higher power. The global flood therefore stands as warning example that God will not hold back from destroying a modern wicked generation that prefers absolute freedom from any moral restraint rather than to be morally accountable for their actions to their creator. Look at the world today. Is it not clear that the belief in the evolutionary principle of the survival of the fittest, which is also supposed to be a natural law of nature, according to the evolutionists is responsible for the great breakdown of morals that we see daily. What is dangled out like a juicy plum to everybody is absolute freedom from moral accountability and for persons to do whatever they liked irrespective how it may affect others.

Of course part of the failure can be laid at the door of the professed Christian religions that have failed to equip their flocks with the knowledge to protect themselves and also by their failure to alert their flocks to the sign that the Bible has given so that true Christians can accurately know where they are in the stream of time. What is the will of God for this time? We are not being asked to build a literal Ark today but there is an Ark-like arrangement that God has in place and prospective survivors are required  to identify and enter that arrangement. We need to know the answers to our questions. Other non-Biblical religions are also being held accountable before God because of their presumption to speak on his behalf. Witness how thousands of dedicated Japanese suicide airman died for what they considered a noble cause, in their service of the emperor, who was regarded as a god . How about the suicide bombers that blow up innocent persons to achieve their political aims in the name of religion. Is God going to put up indefinitely with this misrepresentation of his personage by humans who use service to him as an excuse for wicked deeds. Not likely.

The theory of evolution is a dead weight that prevents the advancement of true science, which is based on respect for God’s  creative ability and also recognition of their accountability to him for what they teach about creation.

We hear of predictions of global warming and the disasters’ that are soon to come upon this world. In many of my previous articles I have demonstrated that there is also much Biblical evidence showing that all these things were predicted and that all this is drawing to a conclusion with catastrophic results. You can escape what is coming, but  it would require that you take this warning seriously and look further into these matters affecting the future of mankind.
