Today the Theory of Evolution has become so prominent that the majority of people no longer consider creation by God as a reality. In the past the Bible’s standards of morality held sway providing a climate where honesty, loyalty and good morals were considered virtues. The theory of evolution made belief in a creator unnecessary, and since then what is right and wrong have become blurred and merely a matter of opinion. In this way the theory of evolution has contributed to the increase in crime, the breakdown of marriage, the selfish abandonment of children and the aged and even to some extent the wars between nations. The new code of conduct is “The survival of the fittest.”

As a one-time evolutionist, I was also deceived by the folly of evolution, imagining that the superficially plausible explanations were the truth. However as I began to think more deeply on the matter the folly became more and more apparent. I would like to share my investigation into only one aspect of evolution to demonstrate its folly. The tools we will use will be commonsense and not necessarily a university degree so that anybody with a few grains of commonsense has the ability to test the theory.

The evolution of the arm

Evolution cannot just develop an arm overnight. That would require creation. One would need intelligent thought, a plan and construction techniques immediately. The only actual evidence we have of the development of an arm is in the womb where the development would take a few months and not millions of years. The development would be according to a program written in the first cell’s DNA and the womb would protect the development process from any negative effects. Evolution however, has no program. It occurs in the open by the trial and error method. Its selection of each minor modification is done by “natural selection” and it takes millions of years to achieve its results.

The hoax usually starts with drawings depicting small protuberances appearing which suggests that these develop into legs or arms. There is of course no proof that such a creature ever existed. This is all in the imagination. For an arm to develop what actually is required is two separate bones, somehow connected together but allowing them to move when required. In other words, we require a movable joint, and not a protuberance.

The very first step in the development of an arm is no longer simple but very complicated. Somehow over millions of years two separate bones must grow while still remaining together in position. They must each be completely different in shape. The one, a sort of ball and the other, a complementary cavity
These two parts of the joint must be perfectly matched or they will be utterly useless. Ask any arthritis sufferer what happens when there is the slightest malformation. They have to grow in position because they cannot be joined later and the surrounding ligaments must all grow at the same time or they will fall apart. How will this creature survive for millions of years while developing by the trial and error method? Evolution solves the problem by imagination. Imagine that it has taken place.

Now we have another problem. We only have two bones. The socket is attached to the shoulder and the ball is the first step to developing an arm Before we go any further to show what evolution has to do to develop an arm let us first of all consider another problem. How does evolution know where to put this socket. If the place chosen is at random it could be on your rear end? What is still a bigger problem is how it can duplicate the arm that it is developing on the other side of the body at  a similar location. How does evolution manage this? How does it manage to develop the two duplicate arms randomly? If they developed one at a time, how could the other arm become the exact duplicate by a random process like evolution? Natural selection has no memory. Yet the finished product has two duplicate arms, identical to each other except that they are right and left arms.

To examine how the arm actually develops we notice that evolution has to evolve a socket and a ball. They have to be formed at the same time fitted together and yet be two completely separate bones. The need to grow together and of course they are supposed to randomly form by adding a little bit of bone with each modification. Of course the little bits of bone can be added anywhere, so we need to know how natural selection knows where to put this additions. This takes millions of years because it is obvious that if it happened suddenly, that would mean creation.

What keeps the bones together all this time? Notice that every stage actually requires intelligent decisions. How does evolution accomplish this. You see when ever evolutionists explain the process of natural selection, they use  examples that are so simple that the process seems to work. The example that Darwin used in his “Origin of the Species” were finches with large hard beaks and finches with small soft beaks.  The evolutionary explanation sounds very logical. It is said that in a harsh winter the finches with small soft beaks died out because their beaks were not hard enough to crack open the seeds and so they died out. A scientist named Mendel developed laws that showed that the genes in the cells decide whether beaks are large and hard or whether they are small and soft. His research indicated that both characteristics are preserved within the genes and with succeeding generations both emerge in a certain ratio. This means that the small soft beak variety will re-emerge at a later time.

In continuing our story about the formation of the arm. To keep the ball and socket together evolution has to evolve ligaments. How does evolution work this out?. The ligaments and the bones must evolve at the same time, so how does natural selection manage that?

How to we get them to move? The answer is muscle. Evolution has to come up with some means of movement. To do this it appears that some knowledge of levers is required. Also the knowledge that something that expands and contracts and attached to a lever, has the ability to move the lever. How is evolution supposed to find all this out? The evolutionary method is by “trial and error”. How does natural selection make the correct selection of the result to accept? Once again imagination comes to the rescue. We simply imagine that all of this developed together over a million years or so. In the meantime are we entitled to ask how fit for survival was this creature?”
With imagination we now have a movable bone. But how does the man control the movement of the bone? Here again we will have to resort to imagination because to accomplish this we will need a program in the brain to supply the control and also a lot of control lines called nerves with which to convey the control messages to the muscle. The point to remember is that these all have to develop at the same time and all be ready to operate when everything is complete.

At this stage we a have a controllable movable bone, but is it an arm? No! It is just a controllable movable bone. What can we do with it? It’s useless. We cannot stop here. We will now have to do the same job all over again but with many new modifications. We have to construct an upper arm of the right length, an elbow joint, a forearm, a collection of bones forming the fingers and a thumb. When reading the previous sentence notice how easy it is to glide from the shoulder to the hand, however when we think it through carefully the hoax become very clear. Remember the elbow is a different kind of joint. We can only use this limb after we have gone through all the sequential processes.  According to evolution everything happens by chance. This means that evolution tries something , finds that it does not work and starts all over again many, many times. Is this logical. When does evolution know that it has successfully created the limb or for that matter when it has failed. The problem with chance is that it goes nowhere unless one knows what one is looking for and says stop.

A simple illustration is a lock using three wheels to open it. Each wheel is ten numbers from zero to nine. The mathematical odds are expressed like this 10 times 10 times 10. therefore the odds are a thousand to one. Evolution just keeps trying so even of it moves the wheels a million times if it does not know what it is looking for the process can go on for eternity and still get nowhere. In the case of reality it we are looking for the the number 783. when it turns up we stop but if we cannot recognize that we have found our number the search goes on. How does evolution know when to stop?

Take the eye for example. It does not matter how many books and experiments are done demonstrating that it can theoretically evolve, it just cannot for the following reasons. The complexity is too  great. Take the lens of the eye for example.  When using a projector to project what the lens in a camera sees,  all we can come up is a little square or a parallelogram. Scientists decided to use three cameras to suggest the wide angle effect that we have with our eyes. The result was Cinemascope. It fell so far short of what they were trying to achieve that it was discontinued as not being worth the effort. We would have to use many cameras and focus them in an arc to produce what the eye does with one lens. When producing wide angle lenses, close ups are distorted. Not with regard to the eye.  Look straight ahead and place your palms at the sides of  your head. Move them further and further apart until they disappear. You will notice that you have almost 180 degree undistorted vision. Scientist do not even know how the eye manages that feat and with all their intelligent planning they have not been able to achieve it. Evolution says that it happened by chance. How did evolution know that two similar eyes placed apart would give 3D vision. How did it know that it should be placed at the highest level in our bodies to be of practical use. Did it place eyes experimentally at many different places in the body only to find that they were of no use in that position. After all they could only look for the right place to locate the eye after it had been developed to the stage when it could see. To accomplish both at the same time would require planning or at the least intelligent thought. The images are upside down. How did evolution know that they are upside down and require a computer program in our brains to reverse the image. Evolution is a hoax. How does evolution know when the images are sharp. The questions one could ask about every detail about any organ are endless.

Imagine if this method of analysis were supplied to the formation of other organs like the ears, the nose the mouth with its tongue and teeth and the internal organs. The test can be applied to all life forms, vegetation, insects, sea life, and reptiles and animals and you do not require a college education, merely commonsense. Surely our examination reveals that evolution is the greatest hoax that has been fostered on mankind. Under the guise of science we have been fooled into believing that a philosophy that is 5% truth and 95% imagination is scientific. I would rather venture to say that it is false religion, because it is an article of faith. Am I wrong when speaking of the “Folly of Evolution?”

The artistic beauty of the evolution theory is that it relies on imagination for its proof. To illustrate: A popular book on evolution says that the flightless Cormorant on the Galapagos island cannot fly because it does not need to fly as there are no carnivore on the Island (sounds plausible) The fact is that the same Island is home to the Frigate bird, which is a good flyer. The average person is too quick to accept a plausible imaginative explanation as proof, without question rather than demanding facts to support the explanation.

Is it possible that what the Bible has said at 1 Corinthians 1:19,20 has come true?
“.For it is written: “I will make the wisdom of the wise [men] perish, and the intelligence of the intellectual [men] I will shove aside.” 20 Where is the wise man? Where the scribe? Where the debater of this system of things? Did not God make the wisdom of the world foolish.”
