The Bible’s First Prophecy?
Jesus the Firstborn of Creation
(Colossians 1:15-16) . . .He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him. . .
This explains who the Bible was referring to at Proverbs 22.
(Proverbs 8:22-23) . . .“Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. . .
From verse 29 We are told that God’s firstborn shared with God in creation. It mentions that God was especially fond of this spirit son and we can understand why he willingly volunteered to be made flesh because he was also fond of men. This also explains who God was talking to in Geness1 :26 when scripture says:-:”Let us make man in our image an likeness”
(Proverbs 8:29-31) . . .when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men.
This spirit son who became known on earth as Jesus helped to vindicate his father’s sovereignty. How did he do that? He proved that there was no valid reason for Satan’s accusations. He as the highest creation, after being placed in a weak human position retained his love and worship of his father to his death. By doing this he proved Satan a liar because Satan was not able to break his integrity no matter what he did. In a secondary way Jesus by sacrificing his earthly life in this way provided the perfect ransom for mankind.
How the Ransom Works
(Romans 5:12) . . .That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned. . .
(Romans 5:19) . . .For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were constituted sinners, likewise also through the obedience of the one [person] many will be constituted righteous.
All the children of Adam came under condemnation of death because their perfect father sinned and incurred the penalty of death. We, his children inherited from our father traits that he had cultivated and because of our imperfection were not capable of keeping God’s laws without sin. However this was not our fault. Jehovah God demonstrated his qualities of love, justice and mercy by providing a means of getting back what Adam lost for us. God’s justice was demonstrated by his operating within the framework of his own laws. When Jesus died he had earned the right to live forever for himself and his offspring by his faithfulness. He sacrificed his perfect life but still retained the right to have perfect offspring. Being dead he could not marry and have those children, God resurrected him back to what he had before, but as a spirit person he still could not produce human children in the normal way. Jesus became our “everlasting father” by adopting those of us who valued what he had done and proved this by obedience to him. Jesus, the loyal son of Jehovah commanded that we worship his father by taking a stand on God’s side of the issue. This we do by obeying all the commands of Jesus. Jesus himself taught at John 17:3 that we should continued to take in knowledge of his father, whom he called “the only true God” and of himself. In doing this we learn exactly what God and Jesus require of us. Jesus as God’s representative on earth then tells us what God requires from us.
(John 17:3) . . .This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. . .
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”
The System of Clergy and Laity has served as another instrument of Satan to deceive the people and prevent them form carrying out Jesus’ instructions. Notice that Jesus commanded that his disciples had to make other disciples of people of all the nations. A disciple is learner. The teacher had to teach the learner everything that he himself had learned from his teacher including the command to go out and teach others. So every learner was also a teacher. That is why Christianity mushroomed in the first century.

Just as voters go out and canvas to get other voters to support their presidential candidate, So Jesus expects us to do the same. As a reward for his faithful service to his father, Jehovah promised him the power to rule over all God’s creation. This is what the Bible speaks about when it speaks about God’s kingdom. We see this prophetically in vision at Daniel 7:
Jesus to receive a Kingdom
(Daniel 7:13-14) . . .“I kept on beholding in the visions of the night, and, see there! with the clouds of the heavens someone like a son of man happened to be coming; and to the Ancient of Days he gained access, and they brought him up close even before that One. 14 And to him there were given rulership and dignity and kingdom, that the peoples, national groups and languages should all serve even him. His rulership is an indefinitely lasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be brought to ruin.
The Prophecy in Daniel also shows that others will be associated with Jesus in his rulership.
(Daniel 7:22) . . .until the Ancient of Days came and judgment itself was given in favor of the holy ones of the Supreme One, and the definite time arrived that the holy ones took possession of the kingdom itself.
(Daniel 7:27) . . .“‘And the kingdom and the rulership and the grandeur of the kingdoms under all the heavens were given to the people who are the holy ones of the Supreme One. Their kingdom is an indefinitely lasting kingdom, and all the rulerships will serve and obey even them.’
The book of Revelation gives us a vision of Jesus sharing his rulership and identifies who they are.
Revelation 14:1-5) 14 And I saw, and, look! the Lamb standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads. 2 …………………s; and no one was able to master that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth. 4 These are the ones that did not defile themselves with women; in fact, they are virgins. These are the ones that keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes. These were bought from among mankind as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb, 5 and no falsehood was found in their mouths; they are without blemish.
Notice that they are all Christians and follow their leader Jesus Christ. They were all bought from the earth and have a heavenly destiny. They all share in the first resurrection. Revelation chapter 7 shows that just before bringing the final destruction of this wicked world, angels are instructed to wait until the final sealing of the remaining ones of the 144000 slaves of God. The Clergy of Christendom have applied this to the Jews, but because they do not compare scripture with scripture they misinterpret the meaning. At luke 21 Jesus pronounced the divorce decree against the nation of Israel.
(Luke 13:34-35) . . .Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the killer of the prophets and stoner of those sent forth to her—how often I wanted to gather your children together in the manner that a hen gathers her brood of chicks under her wings, but YOU people did not want [it]! 35 Look! YOUR house is abandoned to YOU. I tell YOU, YOU will by no means see me until YOU say, ‘Blessed is he that comes in Jehovah’s name.’”
God had promised to make a new covenant with Israel. The Jews were given the first opportunity to become a part of Spiritual Israel. Only a small number responded, so there was a dulling of the rest’s sensibilties. This gave an opportunity for the non-Jews or nations to supply the balance of the number making up spiritual Israel. In this manner all Israel (Spiritual Israel) will be saved.
The full number was 144,000 and the final members were only selected during the last days which is during our time.
(Romans 11:25-26) . . .For I do not want YOU, brothers, to be ignorant of this sacred secret, in order for YOU not to be discreet in your own eyes: that a dulling of sensibilities has happened in part to Israel until the full number of people of the nations has come in, 26 and in this manner all Israel will be saved. Just as it is written: “The deliverer will come out of Zion and turn away ungodly practices from Jacob. . .
The following scripture provides the proof that there would be a remnant or ( remaining ones) of this class during the time of the end. The angels were to hold back the destructive forces until the final ones are sealed.
(Revelation 7:1-4) . . .After this I saw four angels standing upon the four corners of the earth, holding tight the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow upon the earth or upon the sea or upon any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the sunrising, having a seal of [the] living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying: “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until after we have sealed the slaves of our God in their foreheads.” 4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel:
The 144,000 are to be kings and priests ruling as associated kings with the “king of kings” Jesus Christ.
(Revelation 5:9-10) . . .And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”
I have discussed the last days and the final end of the world in other articles but it may be sufficient to quote one verse to establish this fact. It is the answer to the “Lords Prayer” for the kingdom to come.
(Daniel 2:44) . . .And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite. . .
These associate rulers are the only ones that are born again and destined to be resurrected as spirit persons to rule with Christ. The scriptures says emphatically that no man can sing the song that they sing but the 144,000 that have redeemed from the earth. The Clergy of Christendom have once again misled mankind into believing that God has abandoned his purpose to have this earth populated by perfect human creatures and is now going to take all the faithful ones to heaven. Can you discern the purpose of Satan in this false teaching. He has actually got people to believe that God has failed in his original purpose. In this way the clergy are also shutting the door to the main hope that God is holding out to mankind.
Surely our common sense tells us that kings and Priests must have subjects to rule over. Furthermore the very expression “1st resurrection” implies that there is also another resurrection.
When Jesus was on earth he also spoke of his having a little flock and then added that he also had other sheep that were not of that fold but were also to be gathered and that they would all be under the one shepherd.
(John 10:16) 16 “And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; those also I must bring, and they will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock, one shepherd.
Regarding our time the revelation chapter 7 shows that God will take a large crowd of survivors through the final destruction of this system of things into his new world
(Revelation 7:9-10) . . .After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. 10 And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.. . .
(Revelation 7:13-15) . . .who are they and where did they come from?” 14 So right away I said to him: “My lord, you are the one that knows.” And he said to me: “These are the ones that come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 That is why they are before the throne of God; and they are rendering him sacred service day and night in his temple; and the One seated on the throne will spread his tent over them.
The final fulfillment of the prophecy at Gen 3:15 is when the seed of the woman finally bruises the head of the serpent.
(Revelation 20:1-2) . . .And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. . .
The members of the 144000 share in this crushing of the Serpent’s head.
(Romans 16:20) 20 For his part, the God who gives peace will crush Satan under YOUR feet shortly. May the undeserved kindness of our Lord Jesus be with YOU.
Notice the Bible is in perfect harmony within itself. It consisted of 66 separate books written over a period of about 1600 years. Most of the writers lived at different times yet it can be bound into one book, which we call the Bible (which means the books) and is perfectly in harmony itself. No other book in the history of mankind has been able to accomplish this miracle.
You can have the Hope
However what about us? How can we benefit from this knowledge and Jesus’ sacrifice? Do you remember the account of Job? This showed that one of the taunts that Satan had made was that no man would resist his temptation, and particularly if he brought hardship and death to man. Jehovah knew that although many might follow Satan and choose the course of selfishness and abuse their freedom of choice there would be those that preferred God’s way and who, like his son were prepared to serve God no matter what. By applying the benefits of his sacrifice in their behalf Jesus could purchase them the opportunity to be tried as perfect humans. To finally accomplish this, God would resurrect them if necessary, heal them, and raise them to perfection so that at the end of the days after God’s rest ended, they could show their faith by their perfect obedience to their creator. (Psalm 37:29) . . .The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.
This is the only true hope for mankind.
