When discussing science and scientists, the general picture is of a gentleman in a white coat that is so objective that he never commits himself until he has absolute proof to support his conclusion.

Great advances have been made in the scientific world with regard to mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, medicine and chemistry. It is in the world of historical science that questions arise as to the soundness of their conclusions, because they are largely based on speculation.

Scientists, like everyone else are moulded by their own personal beliefs regarding the origin of the earth, life and prehistory. Qualifying in some mechanistic branch of science does not qualify a scientist to speak with authority on origins and history. When speaking on these matters the scientist is merely voicing his own beliefs which are religious in nature. As I have previously explained evolution is a religion, because it is a belief and not necessarily science. As the media generally use the word science in a broad sense, any statement on origins or history by scientists is often regarded as scientific truth.

To illustrate:- Fossil animals are dated in millions of years. Earth’s stratum is also dated in millions of years. However one may ask, what proof exists for these assumption.? One such assumption is that a layer of earth’s strata is gradually formed over millions of years.

Fossils are often found in rock layers. Does an animal die and wait around for millions of years while it is gradually covered by slow forming strata? The evidence says emphatically no!. Normally, If any animal dies, it’s remains are usually consumed by predators or dispersed by the weather. Therefore if an animal is found, whole and complete buried in rock, then the rock must have been formed quickly before complete destruction of the animal remains could have occurred. The only quick way an animal could die, and be preserved in rock is by the action of floodwater. The flood water could deposit sediment which covered the animal and later hardened into rock just as cement hardens into a solid.

What is little known to the public is that the theories regarding the formation of strata over millions of years, are necessary to uphold the theory of evolution. This means that even though the fossil evidence points to quick burial and a rapid formation of the strata in which the fossil is found, the alternative theory has to be accepted to obtain the millions of years necessary to support the evolution theory. Evolution needs billions of years, because the changes that are supposed to have occurred are not visible. To explain what can not be seen today, millions of years are assumed to have passed, to account for the fact that there is no visible evidence. Changes are supposed to have happened so slowly that they are unobservable.

But where is the proof of this assumption? This is not science but religion. Two thousand years ago, the Bible predicted that the time would come when persons would forget that a Global flood had actually happened and would theorise that all things continued on as before.

(2 Peter 3:3-7) 3 “For YOU know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires 4 and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep [in death], all things are continuing exactly as from creation’s beginning.” 5 For, according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; 6 and by those [means] the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water. 7 But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men.”

It was also predicted that men would arise presenting false stories as fact and that this would result in a breakdown of faith in the world. One of these false stories is the story of how humans are supposed to have evolved. True scientific evidence leads to belief in a creator of the universe and including the earth and its inhabitants. If one has doubts concerning this fact then other articles which will be posted would be worth reading.

(2 Timothy 4:3-4) . . .For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories.. . .

Is it not amazing how this old book, the bible, that the present generation has generally relegated to the land of myths and legend, is proving to be more in accord with facts than the imaginary theories that scientists have dreamed up. That is why we ask the question;

“Is all Science True Science”?
