The Fact of Creation, is the key to everything.

You will notice that I have not said “Creation or Evolution.” This is because there is no way of dodging the creation factor.
Let me explain. In the universe today we have so many stars in existence that they are impossible to count. We may be able to count the number that we see with the naked eye, but when we bring in a telescope the numbers increase. The bigger the telescope the more stars come into existence.

Now these stars are in the process of converting matter into energy. On our little planet we can actually feel the heat energy that is generated by our star, the sun. In this process of conversion, matter in the universe is being used and so the overall supply decreases, ultimately in time all the matter in the universe would be used up and the universe would be dead, unless it is maintained by the creation of more matter to replenish what was  lost. This would require a Creator.

To understand this principle, consider the illustration of a bucket with a hole in it. Say we go into a desert and find an abandoned desert settlement with a bucket with a hole in it standing on an empty drum.  We could compare this with a dead universe because there would be no activity with regard to the bucket and also no activity with regard to a dead universe.

However if we find that there is water in the bucket and it is pouring out of the bucket through the hole, we have to conclude that either the bucket was filled by somebody and we have arrived at a time before it was empty or else if the process had continued over a very long period then, it would mean that the person that filled the bucked was adding water to the bucket continually to compensate for the loss of water..

In the same way because we are here and find that stars are at present converting matter into energy. This means that either matter was created at the beginning and the universe is slowly dying because it is losing matter or else the process will continue because our creator is producing more matter to compensate for the loss of matter due to the conversion process.

So no matter what one believes, rejecting the idea of a creator is unreasonable and unscientific because the facts demand a creator. Furthermore God must have created the laws governing the behavior of matter at the same time. To appreciate that statement consider this illustration:- Would it be reasonable to go to a country that has no roads whatsoever and yet find that it has traffic laws? Is it reasonable to find a land where there are no inhabitants whatsoever and yet there are laws governing the behavior of its citizens? The answer should be obvious.

Scientists have invented telescopes and by observing the behavior of the universe have determined that it is expanding. The astronomer Fred Hoyle proposed the “steady state theory” in 1948. The theory stated that hydrogen was being created in a steady stream somewhere in the universe. This was in an attempt to prove that the universe was infinite, yet he was compelled to bring in a Creator.

The steady state universe was ultimately rejected in favor of the “big bang theory” which states that matter came into existence in time past and exploded. We are at present supposed to be in the process of observing the explosion, because the universe is expanding. Again we find that the appearance of matter demands a Creator and so the issue of creation cannot be avoided.

The evolutionists came out with the theory of an oscillating universe in order to prove that the universe was infinite. According to them, gravity would slow down the expansion until finally it would stop and begin to contract, until it was compressed to such a degree that it exploded again. They assumed that this could carry on indefinitely. However the fact is that a Creator would still be required to maintain the conversion process. Why?  Because the conversion of matter into energy, would still exist in an oscillating universe and so  it would still require the creation of matter to replenish the matter that was lost. So once again a Creator is required to keep the process going otherwise the universe would eventually die. Therefore evolution has again failed to accomplish its aim. With the discovery that the expansion of the universe was actually speeding up and not slowing down, this meant the death of the oscillating universe theory.

What one should notice is that all of these theories require a Creator to create and maintain the universe and  so the objective in each case has failed. Therefore we can safely conclude that God has created the universe and that this is a scientific fact.

The Failure of Evolution

Evolution has failed to provide an answer to the question of how the universe came in to existence but the Bible, although thousands of years old is scientifically correct when it states that “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” Any atheistic science like evolution for example has no starting point. It has to ignore the fact of a beginning because that would imply that God created and they have not been able to produce an alternative even today.

Evolutionists think that they can take issue with the Bible when they laugh at the idea that the universe or earth was created in six twenty-four hour creative days. But all they have done is erect a straw man and then proceeded to demolish it. The fact is that the Bible does not teach that the earth or universe was created in six twenty-four hour creative days. A consideration of Hebrews 4: 1-5 shows that when God proceeded to rest on the seventh day, he was and is still resting and this means that those six creative days were each thousands of years long. A creation scientist believer tried to dispute that fact with me but the Bible uses the expression “day” in many ways. In addition to calling the creation periods “days” God also used the term “day” to describe the daylight hours and the dark hours “night.” Furthermore in Chapter 2:4 of Genesis it says:-

The Bible Answers

(Genesis 2:4) . . .This is a history of the heavens and the earth in the time of their being created, in the day that Jehovah God made earth and heaven.

Here God actually lumps the whole creative period into one day..

The problem is that religious persons even if they are scientists will try to find scriptures to support their church teachings whether it contradicts the Bible or not. God is the author of the Bible and although he inspired men to write down his thoughts in human language, God does not contradict himself and therefore scripture never contradicts itself. However it will contradict false teachings.

How Old is the Universe?

God never told us how old the universe was, but he has indicated that the six creative days, occupied many thousands of years and during that time he was preparing the earth for human habitation. Therefore there is no contradiction between true science and the Bible. However we should also appreciate that God can create with the appearance of age. For example if a doctor examined Adam after his creation he would have assumed that Adam was about thirty years old and yet Adam was only a few minutes old.

The chicken and the egg illustration proves that it was necessary to create a true man and woman at the beginning, and that no one less than a perfectly formed man would be capable of producing the human race. The illustration is as follows:- The question is asked what came first the chicken or the egg? The answer is the chicken because the egg could not survive on its own. The idea of ape-men is nonsense because the genetic structure of man and the ape are completely different. Any attempt to cross the two, even if it was possible to produce offspring, this  creature would be sterile. Crossing kinds always results in sterility. The similarities mean nothing as proof of evolution but are simply dictated by the genetic code. It is the differences that make a man and the differences that make an ape. Similarity never means evolution but merely design to some extent for a purpose. The fact that all animals have legs does not mean evolution but design for a similar purpose. Do evolutionists feel that because we are to be different from animals that God should have equipped us with wheels instead of legs?  Our method of transport consists of wheels for land-based machines. Just as we have two legs and some animals have four legs and insects may have even more, we make vehicles with two wheels, three wheels, four wheels, and even many more wheels depending on the job it has to do. Their similarity proves nothing except a slight change in design to accommodate the  slight change in purpose..

The Bible accurately says that all life forms produce after their “kind.” Evolutionists group life forms into Genera or species, then assume that God uses their classification In other words evolutionists imagine that “kinds” are actually “species” or “genera.” They then look around for possible examples that they think may contradict what God has said concerning creatures producing according to their “kinds.” They have once again created a straw man and by demolishing it appear to have shown the Bible to be wrong. The Bible “kind is” determined by the fact that they can reproduce. That is what God actually said. Creatures were to reproduce after their “kind.” This means that creatures that cannot engage in reproduction are not of the same “kind.” Some “kinds” are obvious but others may be difficult to accurately ascertain just by their outward appearance but the deciding factor is whether they can reproduce their numbers or not. There is also a great variety within the “kind.” Dogs are always dogs and never procreate with another “kind.” Evolutionists rely on the fact that the public think that their classifications constitute a “kind.”

Evolutionists will claim that the fossils support evolution. The large dates that the evolutionist assign to fossils help to maintain this illusion.  Little do the public in general realize that the dates are inventions of the evolutionist. They arranged the fossils the way they figured evolution worked, assigned imaginary dates to these fossils and called them index fossils. By dating the sedimentary strata according to the index fossil in it, they assigned these imaginary dates to the strata. When another fossil is found, it is checked with the geological scale that they have constructed and dated, and then this fossil is given the date that they had assigned to that strata. This is a hoax. But persons are influenced by it because they don’t know what these dating methods are based on. In this way evolutionists may tell you that a certain creature lived long millions of years before mankind came into existence. This is nonsense because it is based on the evolutionary dates that evolutionist have assigned to the strata and which is pure imagination. Sometimes it is easy to forget how the dates were arrived and so one falls for the ploy.
Also the fact that some men choose to live in caves and use primitive tools is simply explained by the fact that some groups when migrating lost touch with the developments of the science of their day and were quite satisfied to live the way that they do. They might consider, why build a hut when one has a ready-made home in a cave. Certainly a cave is not likely to be as easily destroyed by storms and other factors.
Furthermore until very recently many peoples were found living in what we would call a primitive lifestyle, yet they were quite happy to live that way. In fact when they became more civilized they also inherited the problems that came with the more modern way of life. In fact in some cases it actually worked for the destruction of their culture. In our century in our own country some people live simply in primitive huts and without modern conveniences. This does not mean that they are themselves primitive and low down the evolutionary scale because some  decide to live otherwise, and get an advanced education and are on a par with the rest of civilized society. What is more damaging to the evolution theory is the fact that civilization as a whole has not advanced but humans are behaving more like wild beasts. Witness what the Nazis did to the Jews and others considered undesirable. The men were evolutionists and believed in the survival of the fittest, whereas it is the kindness and caring attitudes toward one another that characterize what people generally regard as  meritorious.  Men that behave like wild beasts are regarded as being depraved. Evolution is supposed to be taking us up to perfection. By contrast the Bible says that man was created perfect and is deteriorating and becoming more sinful. Which fits the facts. The communist system behaved similarly like wild beasts as history shows, and also religious groups that had beliefs that were not in harmony with the Bible. Some may have claimed that they believed the Bible but when their behavior is examined in the light of the scriptures this claim is found to be false. Of course this was sometimes caused by the failure of their religious leaders to give them accurate knowledge of what the Bible really taught. If we are the highest form of life that evolution has produced, why has the human race descended to such a low state of morality?  However their evolutionary law of the survival of the fittest, when applied by persons who believe in it leads to just such a result. the Bible shows that this is exactly what one will expect even calling this one of the signs of the last days.

The Global Flood of Noah’s day

The Bible speaks of a global flood that destroyed all life on earth except a small sample of the various kinds of animal life. The fact that Noah sent out different birds indicated that birds were included. What would we expect as evidence if the flood was an actuality?  Well floods rip up much material and deposit this as sediment when the waters come to rest. The earth is almost completely covered with sedimentary rock, much of which contain fossils of many kinds of animals,  some of which are extinct today. This is exactly what we would find if a global flood had occurred. The fossils have no partially formed limbs or any features that would lead us to conclude that they were in the process of changing into something other than what they are. Furthermore, many of them are very large and much larger than our contemporary animals. This is exactly what we would find if the global flood mentioned by the Bible actually took place. With the limited space that the ark had and the fact that it had to store food as well, Noah would not have taken the larger animals, but the smaller ones as representative of each “kind.”  Modern elephants are much smaller than the mammoths and Imperial elephants of those pre-flood times. However the fossils show that the same “kinds” that are in the fossil record exist today, and show no signs of becoming anything else. By contrast evolutionists say that evolution has been at work right down to our time. So we ask where is the transitional forms that show that those fossils were changing into something else? One evolutionist said that all the fossils were transitional but I think that that is his own definition, and is just scraping the bottom of the barrel in an attempt to support the theory of evolution. Just as the modern animals show no evidence of changing into something else their pre-flood equivalents are exactly the same as their modern day counterparts, with no incomplete structures or organs or bones being formed.

The Bible’s Advanced Knowledge

The Bible tells us that the earth  is hung in space and is round.  Persons in the past that concluded that the earth was flat, did not get their information from the Bible no matter highly religious they claimed to be.

(Job 26:7) . . .He is stretching out the north over the empty place, Hanging the earth upon nothing;

The Bible tells us that the earth is round.

(Isaiah 40:22) . . .There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth, the dwellers in which are as grasshoppers, the One who is stretching out the heavens just as a fine gauze, who spreads them out like a tent in which to dwell. . .
(Job 26:10) . . .He has described a circle upon the face of the waters, To where light ends in darkness. . .

This is reminiscent of Genesis 1:2 and describes the earth when it was covered with water.

(Genesis 1:2) Now the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of [the] watery deep; and God’s active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters.

Evolution’s predictions have been shown to be false whereas the Bible shows advanced knowledge ahead of its time, The Bible has advance knowledge of the genetic code.

(Psalm 139:16) . . .Your eyes saw even the embryo of me, And in your book all its parts were down in writing. . .

This is correct for the parts are all written in the language of the genetic code.
The medical advice given in the law to Moses is still good today but it was written before scientist discovered bacteria and infectious diseases. It also gave accurate information on how to handle sewage disposal.

The Bible’s advanced knowledge of Healthful Habits

(Leviticus 8:17) And he had the bull and its skin and its flesh and its dung burned with fire outside the camp, just as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

(Numbers 5:2-3) . . .Command the sons of Israel that they send out of the camp every leprous person and everyone having a running discharge and everyone unclean by a deceased soul. 3 Whether a male or a female YOU should send them out. YOU should send them outside the camp, that they may not contaminate the camps of those in the midst of whom I am tabernacling. .

(Deuteronomy 23:10-14) 10 In case there happens to be in you a man who does not continue clean, because of a pollution that occurs at night, he must also go outside the camp. He may not come into the midst of the camp. 11 And it must occur that at the falling of evening he should wash with water, and at the setting of the sun he may come into the midst of the camp. 12 And a private place should be at your service outside the camp, and you must go out there. 13 And a peg should be at your service along with your implements, and it must occur that when you squat outside, you must also dig a hole with it and turn and cover your excrement.

All of this shows an advance knowledge that is way ahead of anything that the dominant world powers of that time possessed.
In addition the legal system that the Bible shows the Israelites had,  produced no prisons and showed consideration for  the victims. How we would appreciate such a system today. Today the the wrongdoer may be punished but the victim gets no consideration or relief.  Moreover the world’s attitude towards the prison system is that it can rehabilitate criminals. How can this be possible when the criminal has in no way done anything to right the wrong done to his victim? According to the system of handling crime within the structure of the Israelite nation, the wrongdoer had to compensate his victim for the wrong done to him. Surely this is superior to any legal system  on earth today and if the principles were applied in modern legal systems would be more beneficial for all and would result in genuine rehabilitation.

Now if one considers:

1. The advanced knowledge of the Bible.
2. The accurately fulfilled prophecies of the Bible.
3. The Bible is the  only ancient written account of the creation that makes sense.
4. The historical value of the Bible so that even archaeologists use it in their work.
5. The high moral values of the Bible.
6. It uses a legal system that is far superior to anything that modern society has produced and can actually  rehabilitates a wrongdoer.

Compare this with the failures of evolution in every sphere of influence and decide for yourself whether the Bible does not show that it is God’s word. It is not only a book but is actually a library written across 1656 years and can function as a single book in complete harmony with itself.
